Not Placed, But Not Done!

Well, due to such a large number of competitors and an untimely bout of food poisoning, it seems that I didn't place well. However, it was made known to me from various people from both inside and outside the sport that I was the most POLISHED that I have ever been! I want to give some shout outs to some of those supporters.... MJ, Laurie V, Laura J, Maria B, Jonnie B, Cathy, Ana T, Troy & Krissy and many others!

So, now it's all about growth...get my shoulders to come up and out and work on polishing up my posing and making sure that I have everything in a row for the 2009 season!

I'm working on my personal growth thru business right now. The first is an NPC Womens Figure, Fitness & Bodybuilding level service that I provide. It's something I like to call "Polished". I figure that NPC girls waste so much money on hair and makeup and other essentials for contest prep that they feel overwhelmed with financial pressures...that's where I come in... just check out http://www.polished.vpweb.com for all the details! Much love to all my friends in the IFBB and NPC! I look forward to seeing and competing with you HOT ladies soon!

A Cold Sweat!

Well, it's finally time for the AC Pro-Am and I woke up this morning feeling extremely sick. I started to have cold dripping sweats and nausea, my hubby was extremely careful and watchful. After conferring with my coach, it seems that I had food poisoning! Wow! Well, we were going for a different look than the NYC Pro, and it seems like we did exactly that! LOL :-)

After the prejudging, I seem to be in the 3-4 call outs...so hopefully I'm in the top 15! We will see how that goes...I may have to edit this post tonight! HAHA!!!

I'm competing with some great ladies, Jenn Gates, Krissy Chin, Amy Fry and many many others! Also, can't forget Desha Rodriguez...hope I got her name right! She is beautiful and a great person to talk with. Her husband is great, too! He's Phil from VPX...and a US Marine! OK, I'll post more laterz...let you guys know what's up! Leave a comment or something!!!

2008 Atlantic City Pro-Am

Well, here I am at the Trump Marina and it's raining! Thankfully, the entire show and the host hotel are one in the same! I'm trying a new direction with this show. I feel that I had my best package in NYC, however, it might have been too lean and "stringy" for a top 10 placing. Well, this time, I'm going to see which direction the juding will go... There will be more news as it becomes available! I'm waiting to get my tan on....

9/11 Thoughts

Well, it's currently the 12th of September, but last night, I had the pleasure of spending the night at a friend's house in Hoboken.... It was really moving to see the twin lights tribute this year! I got some great pictures of it and hope that before the end of next week, I'll have some up! I want to thank all of the men and women that bravely entered the "fire & brimstone", some of whom never came home! I'm proud to be an American and proud of my country's Patriotism!

Thank you and God Speed!

2008 NYC Update / AC PRO-AM Update

Well, since this is Wednesday before the Atlantic City Pro-Am, I assume that most of you know that the NYC Pro is over. I came in the best I ever have before! I LOVE the way my body felt and looked! I have been practicing on my posing and was/am thrilled with my progress! I went out on that stage and shined! The NYC was a LARGE show with some really great competition! Unfortunately, with such a large show and great competition, everyone trying to bring their "A" game, some people tend to get lost in the shuffle! The judges did not reward me for my conditioning at this show, but that's besides the point! I can honestly say that I did my personal best to improve the package I brought! I am amazed at how my body has been changing [for the better] this season! But enough about the NYC!

Now my attention is focused on the AC Pro-Am! I am super excited to compete in this show! There will be some GREAT competitors that I will be on stage with! Jane Awad, Jenn Gates, and Krissy Chin, just to name a few! By the way, if you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Krissy Chin or Jenn Gates, you know that they are SUPER sweet girls and I love competing with them! If you haven't heard, this show will be even LARGER than the NYC Pro with over 34 competitors signed up! The reason for this? Well, this is the "last chance" for many women trying to get an invite to the IFBB Figure Olympia in Las Vegas! At this point, I want my invite, too! I plan on bringing my best package to this show and leaving it up to the judges! I PLAN to have fun while there!

Ok, enough updating now! LOL ;-) More, laterz.... Until then... LIVE your DREAMS!!!

By the way, the Margarita's in NYC were GREAT!!! LMAO!!! This one was from Chevy's, which is a "South of the Border" themed restuarant that is in the Financial District across from the Irish Hunger Memorial Park!

2008 NY Figure Nationals

Well, here I am in NYC and it's my old stompin' ground! This time around, they moved the show to September and it's a good thing considering that the AC is working again in the Tribeca Performing Arts Center! Also, this is my first time in the NYC area as a Professional! According to my coach and IMO, this is the BEST I've ever come in to a Pro Show! I'm so excited and I will let you know as I can...

More Laterz....
